Harleyworld At The Chatsworth Show 2014

Year after year the Chatsworth Country Fair never fails to put on a good show, providing excellent entertainment as well as a variety over 300 stalls for the 90,000 visitors over three fantastic days.

Among these stalls, Harleyworld Chesterfield showcased their range of quality Harley-Davidson® Motorcycles, which all looked right at home within the country grounds with their mean chrome engines gleaming in the mid day sun. There was also a variety of official Harley-Davidson Merchandise to brose through whilst taking the exciting atmosphere.

Speaking of an exciting atmosphere, Harleyworld revved up the crowds with live entertainment on stage and offered visitors the chance to sample our mean rides on the rolling road.

Overall the weekend had a great vibe; there was great entertainment from the Chatsworth show ground, great food and drink and above all else, great people and Motorcycles of course.

Project LiveWire

We at Harleyworld Harley-Davidson® are pleased to bring you the latest announcement from Harley-Davidson®, who have just revealed their first ever electric motorcycle code named “Project LiveWire”.

The Project LiveWire event kicks off next week across USA’s famous Route 66 to give a few select riders the chance to ride this interesting motorcycle and gain an insight into rider’s expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson® motorcycle.

As you can imagine, this move raises questions about a change in the look and sound that Harley-Davidson® are most known for, as both of these will surely be very different in this reinvention for Harley®, in response Harley-Davidson® have stated that “America at its best has always been about reinvention”. 

This new ride blends the company’s styling heritage with the latest technology to deliver a new interpretation of the signature Harley-Davidson® look, sound and feel. They go on to mention that the bike will offer a visceral riding experience and compare the new unmistakable sound to a fighter jet on an aircraft carrier!

Either way you look at it, you can’t deny that this is an exciting new direction for Harley-Davidson® and it’s good to know that the future of Harley® lies in the response of the consumer in the upcoming, sure to be electricfying, “Project LiveWire” event.

Harleyworld Birthday Bash 2014

This was our thirteenth Harleyworld Birthday bash but superstition wasn’t getting in our way. The banners were up, the chrome engines were gleaming in the sun and the band was ready to play, all that was needed was the guests and when they did turn up, the party was well and truly revved up.

Riders on their bikes were arriving by the spades whilst the band was bellowing out the blues, mouth watering smells from the Haulin’ Hog Road House Diner were kick starting our appetites and riders were testing their balance on the wheelie machine. The atmosphere was electric and full of happy faces; there was only one word to describe it “perfect”.

The event also gave riders the opportunity to gain access to a wide range of exclusive offers on our official Harley-Davidson®merchandise range, from stylish t-shirts to custom parts, believe me when I say there was something for everyone.

Although we are here for the party, let’s not forget the other reason we are here, to check out our latest Harley-Davidson® range and take them out on the open road. Watching the ten man convoys cruise out into the countryside was a cool site to see and even better to be part of. I now understand why people fall for Harley-Davidson®, the rumble of the engines, the bold stylish good looks and the freedom you feel from these powerful machines are an experience I won’t forget any time soon.

Although I am not a biker, by the end of the day I felt inclined to start lessons, the Harley-Davidson® community felt like a warm and welcoming family with open arms and the bikes showed me another side of the world, one full of freedom, adventure and the open road.
